The Soft Lounge Creative Blog

The Soft Lounge Creative Blog is a bit different then the regular blog in a few salient ways, and might be different from blogs you’re used to altogether.  As such, let me lay out some of my hopes for what this site will be;

• This web site is going to be dedicated to a more “creative writing” type of post rather than the usual “thoughts and musings” or “news reports and commentary” you’re probably used to with blogs.  As such, expect short stories, poems (maybe?), skits, sketches, cartoons, comics, videos, audio-all sorts of creative writing that I decide I want to do.

• This also wont’ be necessarily a place for finished works of creative writing-a lot of times I get stuck.  I have a character, or a beginning of a story-or a draft of a story I need some input on.  Therefore not everything here will be complete or satisfactory if you’re looking for a great read-and months later it could be completely different when it is re-posted

• That means I need you!  If you like what you read-tell me!  When you don’t like what you read, tell me!  If I ask “what would you like to see this character do?” tell me!  If a story I write elicits a  certain reaction, or question even, let me know-I’d love to do posts where we talk about things as a community!

• I am hoping that this blog will stay constructive-not that I don’t want you to be negative, just not mean.  Also-things like grammatical changes, etc., will be welcome comments at sometimes but might just warrant an email sent to me privately

• This won’t be updated as much as a regular blog will-as the process takes longer-and it also won’t be cross posted at TSL/Blog all that often, so if you want to be in the loop, you better add the RSS!
